Yes, for many patients our preferred option is a shared care treatment with your family dentist. Many of the local dentists have additional training and long term experience in dental implant care. Patients are frequently referred to the Tauranga Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for implant placement only and then return to their family dentist for provision of the new teeth and regular restorative care.
