How will I care for my implants?
The majority of implant supported teeth are maintained in exactly the same way as normal teeth. The use of effective home oral hygiene with a soft tooth brush, fluoride toothpaste and daily floss are recommended. Cases involving multiple teeth will require modified home care which will be taught by the implant dentist. Appropriate home care requires only a few minutes of the day and is a small investment of time to protect a valuable asset. The restorative dentist will arrange appropriate follow-up and review to ensure continued oral health around the new teeth.
